Chasing Shoreline

Chasing Shoreline 18x24 oil on panel

This oil painting of a Clydesdale colt running on the shoreline, painted in the illuminist technique, would showcase the blend of naturalistic detail and luminous, almost ethereal light. The illuminist technique, often characterized by the careful use of light to bring radiant quality to the subject, would enhance the dynamic motion of the colt as it gallops, capturing the play of sunlight on its muscular form and the reflective sheen on its coat.
