Bastion of Blue

This Painting "Bastion of Blue" has the feel of classic Nantucket with the weathered shingle on this dock office on Old Wharf, The beautiful blooms of the hydrangeas quintessential to New England and then of course the Blue Tiffany vintage bicycle that everyone can relate to. The percision brushwork in all of these elements make this a prize winning painting by Léger. As always her compositions bring you to the indescribable sense of Nantucket as a magical place.
