Blue Tiffany Uptown

"Blue Tiffany Uptown"  this painting with the overflowing window boxes, light and shadows through the trees and the vintage bicycle standing proudly on the weathered brick sidewalk. The beautiful buildings and people make this quintessential Nantucket scene. The illuminist technique with thin layers of oil paint allow for the intense sharp focus realism in this painting by Léger. Blue Tiffany Uptown was recently awarded to be shown in the American Artist Professional League Summer art show 2024 NYC.
